HOW IT WORKS:
Every item you bring gets you 1 “exchange ticket” valid for any other item at the event (as long as it qualifies – see “what to bring”). If you have high-end labels to swap (e.g., Dior, Prada, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, etc.) and have paid for Salon Couture access ($30), then you will have exclusive access to our Salon Couture to find other items of similar prestige and value.

WHAT TO BRING:
Clean and undamaged men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories (e.g., hats, scarves, gloves and belts) in never worn, like new or excellent condition.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
Bathrobes, pyjamas, underwear, lingerie, swimwear, tank tops, socks, or stockings. Likewise, we do not issue exchange tickets for ripped, faded, torn, stained, scratched, dirty, frayed, missing buttons, broken zippers or otherwise worn/damaged items. Items received that fail to meet these standards will be donated to The Salvation Army.

SAVE TIME – WE’LL COME PICK UP YOUR CLOTHES!
Take advantage of our Express Check-in service and avoid line-ups at the swap. To arrange for a FREE clothing pick-up (until May 22), send an email with your address and phone number to:
clothingpickups-MTL@theswapteam.org

Please be sure to label your bags with your name, contact info and # of items inside. We cannot be held responsible for clothing picked up with no contact information.

You will receive your exchange tickets with paid admission at the entrance of our May 29th event.

We look forward to reporting our impact after each and every event, including the number of bags of clothing we have collected, how many items were swapped, how many items were donated to charity, and how much money (if any) was raised.

Any monetary proceeds leftover from this event will help The S.W.A.P. Team to grow its mission-critical activities, such as starting new chapters, developing educational programs for schools and innovating more locally designed and produced upcycled products.

We are a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization and appreciate your support. Here's to 12, 172 items swapped and counting!
